Maximun mobile memory size

Many people are still struggling to find out what is the maximum capacity of their mobile phone. Here is some useful information writen to help you decide which size you should get. The easiest way is to google "your mobile model memory card". However this method sometimes doesnot work. If you still have the user manual, you can find the information on it. Don't worry if lose it, you can still check the mobile manufacture's website. Nokia ,Samsung ,Motorola and LG mobiles take Micro SD card. Sony Ericsson mobiles are only compatible with the Sony memory stick pro duo or M2 (micro stick), with the exception of K850(use m2 and micro sd).If your mobile is 2 years old or more, then it certainly cannot use the latest 2G/4G/8G memory card. Try 512MB or 1GB. Some mobiles, like Motorola V3/V3i etc, can use 1gb micro sd card only with the lastest firmware. Motorola A1000 will only support up to 512MB. If you put a 1gb card inside, it will say "format the memory card". And large memory makes mobiles respond very slowly, as there are too many files on it. I have a Sony Ericsson K750i, and put a 2gb memory stick pro duo on it. Every time I open the picture or sound folder, it takes at least 60 seconds. So I changed it to 512MB, works fine now. K750i takes reasonable pictures, and this 512M will store about 1000 pics on it. Since the battery will be dead well before you use all the memory space, there is no use for huge memory card unless you are obssessed with it. Will be revised when I got more information. Hope you find it helpful. If you have any good advice on this guide or still not sure about which memory card you should use, please feel free to e-mail me through ebay.
